Escanaba City Hall reopening June 8

ESCANABA — Escanaba City Hall will reopen to the public beginning Monday, June 8, at 7:30 a.m. Residents entering the building will be required to wear a mask and to limit in-person interactions as much as possible. Customers are still able, and encouraged, to pay their utility bills on-line by visiting the website www.escanaba.org, or by dropping their payments in the drop-box on the west side of the building.

The Escanaba City Library will start drive-through services on Monday, June 8. Hours will be Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A drive-through window has been placed on the north side of the library building for library materials. Details on reopening to the public and will be announced in the near future.

City officials are asking for the safety of all residents and staffs, if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, or are generally feeling ill, please stay home.

If you have any questions regarding the Coronavirus, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) now has a statewide hotline. It is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1-888-535-6136.
