Blanket program helps community

Courtesy photo Since 2015, the 93rd District Court Probation Department has continued the community service blanket program in which defendants who are assigned community service hours by the court can make blankets for local nonprofit entities. The blanket program, supervised by Senior Probation Agent Greg Schultz, delivers the blankets each December. To date, over 1,000 blankets have been produced and handed out in both Schoolcraft and Alger Counties.
