Dentistry For Our Vets set for Nov. 9

IRON MOUNTAIN — The John Fornetti Dental Center in Iron Mountain will present Dentistry For Our Vets on Saturday, Nov. 9. Dentistry For Our Vets provides free dental care to veterans in need.

Dr. John and Dr. Dan Fornetti, along with their team of employees, volunteers and sponsors will be hosting their sixth annual Dentistry For Our Vets on Saturday, Nov. 9. Those over age 18 in need of dental care will be able to choose between one free extraction, filling or hygiene cleaning. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis until 3 p.m.

The John Fornetti Dental Center is turning its parking lot into an outdoor waiting room, with a heated waiting area and burn barrels, but please remember to bundle up and stay warm.

91 percent of U.S. veterans are ineligible for dental benefits. Dr. John Fornetti of Iron Mountain, thinks as Americans, we can do better. In response, he started Dentistry For Our Vets. The John Fornetti Dental Center’s 2018 event was able to serve 58 veterans, providing over 183 procedures, and over $23,000 in services donated.

Dentistry For Our Vets will be held at The John Fornetti Dental Center, located at 100 S.
