ESCANABA – Shaun Anderson married Kristin Vanden Acker on Aug. 8, at St. Pius X Catholic Church.

Anderson is the son of Linda and Loren Anderson of Escanaba.

Vanden Acker is the daughter of Patti and Marty Vanden Acker of Appleton, Wis.

The couple are both in the education field. The groom works as a math teacher at Amherst High School, and the bride works as a 4th grade teacher at Amherst Elementary School.

The happy couple lives in Amherst, Wis.
