ROCK – Lindsey Mae Tyynela and Alex James Wigand were united in marriage on May 16 during a ceremony at the Rock Bible Chapel. Pastor Mike Lepisto officiated.

A reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Highland Golf Course.

Casey Bricco, a friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kirsten Womack and Kayla Tyynela, sisters of the bride, and Amee Gilbert, friend of the couple.

Standing as best man was Justin Wigand, cousin of the groom. Groomsmen were Adam Wigand, brother of the groom; and Erik Gilbert and Mike Gartland, friends of the groom.

Lindsey is the daughter of David and Michelle Tyynela of Rock. She is a 2008 graduate of Mid Peninsula High School and a 2012 graduate of Lake Superior State University. Currently she is a commercial loan processor at Upper Peninsula State Bank.

Alex is the son of Don Wigand of Wells. He is a 2008 graduate of Escanaba High School and a 2010 graduate of Bay De Noc Community College. Alex is currently employed at Classic Auto Collison.

The couple is living in their new home in Wells.
