ESCANABA — Big Bay Pony Club of Delta and Menominee counties took home top awards at the Lake Shore Regional Quiz Rally on March 16. US Pony Club members use Quiz Bowl to test and display their knowledge in equine behavior, training, health and fitness, nutrition, care and equipment.
The Lake Shore Region includes nine pony clubs from the eastern part of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula. In the Beginner Novice D group Cylie O., Lyana L., Neala L. and Eloise M. took home second place. The Junior D group of Ella T., Eleanore M., Maggie J. and Kaelyn J brought back blue ribbons for first place, and the Junior C group of Cadence O., Riley R., Camille R. and Katie A. took third place in their division.
