Wags-A-Tail Rummage Sale June 24-25

ESCANABA — The Delta Animal Shelter is having their annual Wags-A-Tail Rummage Sale Friday, June 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, June 25, from 8 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Miracle of Life Building on the U.P. State Fairgrounds.

All proceeds go to helping homeless animals in need.

Wells Lions Club raffle winner named

WELLS — The winner of the Wells Lions Club 52-week raffle for the week of June 13 is Sharon Lewis, of Escanaba, who won $100. This was week 46 of the raffle.

BARK RIVER — The Bark River Sesquicentennial Committee is seeking old pictures of the following area schools: Belgian, Forty-Seven, Kasten, Kleiman, Newhall, Old Pine Ridge, Bloomberg Cabin at Pine Ridge, Porath, Temple, Ten Mile, and Whitney.

’54-56 class reunion

STEPHENSON — An old-fashioned school picnic reunion will be held at the Erickson Park Pavillion on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the classmates of the Stephenson classes of 1954, 1955 and 1956.
