Wells Lions raffle winner

GLADSTONE — The winner of the Wells Lions Club 52 week raffle for the week of March 21 is Cory Kroll, of Gladstone, who won $100. This was week 34 of the raffle.

Speaker rescheduled

GLADSTONE — Memorial United Methodist Church has rescheduled Lenten Speaker Eric Paad to Wednesday, April 13 at 6 p.m. Paad is the founder and president of the Caregiver Incentive Project (https://the-cip.com). There will be no Lenten Soup and Speaker program on Wednesday, March 23.

Prayer service for Ukraine

BARK RIVER — A community prayer service for Ukraine will be held Sunday, March 27, at 4 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 4304 D. Road, Bark River

The service is sponsored by St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Bark River United Methodist and Salem Lutheran Church. Fellowship and refreshments will follow. All offerings going to help the people of Ukraine.

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone School and Public Library spring break hours are as follows:

Monday, March 28, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Tuesday, March 29, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Wednesday, March 30, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Thursday, March 31, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Friday, April 1, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Regular hours will resume Monday, April 4.

Esky Class of 1972 50th reunion planned

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Class of 1972 will hold their 50th reunion on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the Marketplace in downtown Escanaba.
