Food donations at Menards will go to Salvation Army
ESCANABA — Menards stores around the region are now serving as drop sites for non-perishable food items during the months of June and July, 2026.
“We’re excited to participate in this wonderful opportunity while lending a helping hand to the community,” said a press release from the company.
In Escanaba, contributions will be donated to the Salvation Army, which operates a food pantry as well as community lunch at 3001 5th Ave. S.
Though largely known for being a home improvement retailer, Menards also offers a wide variety of non-perishable food items, from boxes of cereal to cans of soup that can be found in the grocery department, that can be purchased by shoppers for immediate donation.
The Escanaba Menards is located at 3300 Ludington St. There is a large collection box near the exit doors to place donations, will be accepted until July 31.
