ESCANABA — The Community Service Center food pantry adjacent to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Escanaba is open from 1 to 4 p.m. on Monday and Friday.

Legion Post 301 ­cancels fundraisers

RAPID RIVER — Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and taking into consideration the health issues and average age of its members and clientele as a whole, the active and voting members of Walter W. Cole Post 301 in Rapid River have decided to forgo its normal fundraisers — breakfasts and turkey dinner — until 2021.

DAR to meet Nov. 14

MARQUETTE — The Onagomingkway Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 from 2 until 5 p.m. EDT at the Big Boy Restaurant, located at 1950 U.S. 41 West in Marquette. Attendees are asked to plan on ordering a meal.

Women’s AA meetings

ESCANABA — The Women’s Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting held previously at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Escanaba is now being held in the First United Methodist Church, located at 302 S. 6th St., Escanaba. Women’s AA open meetings will be Wednesday at 11 a.m.
