ESCANABA — Holy Name Catholic School will re-schedule its annual Spring Fling Fundraising Dinner for the end of August or beginning of September — a decision will be made once school is back in session — due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak. The event was formerly scheduled for April 18. Due to rescheduling the event for the fall, it will be called “Back to School Bash.”

On April 18, Holy Name School staff will still pick the winners of the cash and Dinero & Destination Raffles. People are encouraged to mail their raffle tickets in to Holy Name at 409 S. 22nd Street, Escanaba, MI 49829.

Tickets for the buffet dinner are available online at www.holynamecrusaders.com. Tables reservations are also available. The theme of the evening will be “Kentucky Derby.

The money raised at this event will help families in need of tuition assistance and supports other projects at the school that benefit current and future students.
