EDITOR: So, now Joe Biden wants to forgive the debt of a select portion of society. This selection is widely approved by radical liberals, socialists and democrat vote-buyers (who desire to “buy” using other people’s money). Debt is now no longer in the venue of commerce but has entered the realm of politics. Our current administration, and a ton of self-righteous actors and actresses are the faces of climate change. These are the people who take private planes everywhere. I heard that two of the Kardashians took two private planes to an event that took 16 minutes. And California is going to ban gas-powered cars? Living wage

EDITOR: Living wage. I have heard that term a lot lately. I used to hear it years ago. I remember a few years ago, when Seattle instituted a $15 minimum wage. Less than a year later, a lot of the smaller Mom and Pop style shops were forced to close because they could not afford to stay open. Major corporations have reported that they will be forced to reduce their employment numbers in the coming months. Ford Motor Company just announced another 3,000 lay-offs. Escanaba doesn’t need more service jobs

EDITOR: I wish to address Tom Grant's letter 'A Little More Action Please' and Sviland's letter `Northshore Development'. Condos and hotels on the Northshore are not what will attract younger people to Escanaba. What will are jobs — jobs that pay families a living wage — not more service jobs. I have children the ages of the demographic you want to entice to stay and/or move to our town.
