WELLS TOWNSHIP - Escanaba Public Safety respond to a structure fire that resulted in a total loss of a building. On Sunday, around 1:48 a.m., officers responded to a structure fire at 2853 16.5 Road in Wells Township. Officers arrived on scene, and found a two-story structure to be fully engulfed. There were no occupants in the building and firefighters were on scene for four and half hours, and the home is considered a total loss. No injuries were reported.
