Services planned on Memorial Day
ESCANABA — The Delta County Veteran’s Council will conduct memorial services on Monday, May 28, at the following locations: Holy Cross Cemetery at 9 a.m., then at 9:30 a.m. Lake View Cemetery, Ludington Park Veteran’s Memorial at 10 a.m. At the bridge going to the Escanaba beach, a service will be held for sailors and soldiers lost at sea.
The final service is held at the Gardens of Rest Cemetery at 11 a.m.
AMVETS Post 123 will provide the rifle salute at each memorial service.
