Bark River-Harris softball sweeps Munising

BARK RIVER — A plethora of unearned runs propelled Bark River-Harris softball to a pair of mercy rule victories over Munising, taking game one 15-0 and game two17-2.

Game one

The Broncos scored 11 runs in the second inning. Faith Javurek drew a walk that scored a run and Ella Gonzales singled and a pair of runs scored on errors by Munising.

The Broncos scored 15 runs on two hits.

Game two

The Broncos had another big second inning in game two scoring nine runs in the frame. Marlie Krachinski hit a two run triple and sophomore Kaiya Davis followed it up with a single to short that scored another run and the Broncos led 8-0.

The Broncos added on to the lead in the third inning scoring seven more runs. The Broncos finished the game with 17 runs on 10 hits with 10 errors by the Mustangs.
