North Central seniors Max Nason and Jacob Gorzinski and junior Lane Gorzinski added another accolade to their football resumes.

All three earned a spot on the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association’s 2023 Division 2 8-player All-State team.

Nason earned First-Team Honors at offensive line and Jacob Gorzinksi earned First-Team honors at quarterback. Lane Gorzinksi earned All-State honors at linebacker.

The trio of NC athletes weren’t the only U.P. representatives on this list.

Crystal Falls Forest Park juniors Kevin Giuliani and Matt Showers earned First-Team honors at offensive line and defensive line, respectively.

Lake Linden-Hubbell saw two players from its 2023 roster make this list as well. Senior Gabe Popko earned First-Team honors at receiver and junior Nate St. Onge joined Lane Gorzinki as a First-Team linebacker.
