GLADSTONE — Scott Neurohr and Wayne Marshall led the Gladstone Golf Club’s Senior League Monday.

They were followed by Steve Bratonia 74, Buzz Richards, Dick Pepin 76, Rich Trombly, Mark Weber and Mark Hager 79.

Leading the Monday Night Men’s League was Korey Smith with 37.

He was followed by Cris Collins, Jared Ness 38, Kyle Darmogray and Bert Manson 39.

Highland men

ESCANABA — Mark Ray and Brian Sheeneman led the opening day of the Highland men’s golf league with a 74.

They were followed by Dennis Porath 76, Mike Brayak, Jeff Lampi, Kim Peltier 77 and Doug Motto 79.

Esky tennis ties

with Redmen

ESCANABA — The Escanaba Eskymos and Marquette Redmen split the singles and doubles matches here Tuesday, playing to a 4-4 tie in a dual tennis meet.

Esky senior Connor Smale defeated Brian Belkowski 6-3, 6-3 in No. 3 singles, and Sam Rivera blanked Nathan Barsch 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4.

Isaac Maki and Dawson Williams posted a 6-1, 6-2 triumph over William Oliver and Isaac Johnson at No. 1 doubles, and Joe Hubert-Josep Montal beat Keaton Ansell-Andrew King, 6-3, 6-0 in No. 2.

The Eskymos host Menominee Thursday and Iron Mountain Friday.
