The event is a fundraiser held in honor of former NHS adviser and teacher Sheila Sanville, who passed away in 2015 after a long battle with lung cancer. Proceeds from the event help the Chapter complete their annual service projects and induction ceremony.

North Central graduate Josh Granquist earned top honors in the Hermansville Hustle five-kilometer run here Saturday, covering the 3.1-mile course in 18 minutes, 11 seconds.

He was followed by Mike Jenkins (19:06), North Central sixth-grader Kaden Malone (20:17), Jets’ varsity basketball coach Mike Malone (23:23) and women’s champion Brooke Granquist (25:22).
