Road race Sunday

ESCANABA — The 37th Annual Escanaba Slip-Sliding-Away five-mile run takes place Sunday at 2 p.m. at Harbor Towers.

Registration begins at 12:30 in the conference room on the first floor.

Entry fee is $3 through today and $5 on Sunday. Phone registrations for the lower rate will be accepted until midnight.

Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finishers with ribbons going to the top three in each age division. Refreshments will be provided for all runners and helpers.

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Indians American Legion baseball program is accepting letters of interest for coaching candidates this summer.

Coaching candidates should have past baseball coaching experience.
