Carney girls win their 10th straight in Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Carney-Nadeau girls won their 10th straight game Saturday, knocking off Destiny 67-20 in a basketball game played in Wisconsin.
Sandra Boulton led the Wolves with a career-high 26 points. Tessa Wagner added 18 and Haley Ernest had a season-high with 10.
“We had the size advantage,” C-N coach Ken Linder said. “We pretty much got it inside and did what we do.”
The Wolves (12-3) also held their fourth straight opponent under 28 points.
“We’ve been doing a really good job (defensively),” Linder said. “It’s been a point of emphasis and we’ve really been getting into it. I’m feeling pretty good about it.”
