EDITOR: Right Wing conspiracy theorist and Trump supporter, Alex Jones was recently questioned under oath by the congressional committee investigating the January 6, 2021 insurrection. Afterward, he told reporters he had “plead the Fifth, nearly 100 times.” That’s a lot of pleading from a bombastic guy who spends so much time shouting, pointing fingers, and accusing others of wrongdoing. EDITOR: Today January 22, 2022, Right to Life of Delta County and citizens in our country are remembering and mourning the tragic death of over 61 million precious unborn babies who died from legal abortion. Mask use

EDITOR: On November 30, 2021, The Daily Press ran a letter from me in which I ranked the effectiveness of masks for reducing the spread of COVID. In summary, I said that N95 masks were very good. KN95 masks were very good, surgical masks were somewhat good, and cloth masks were ineffective. This incited three letters of rebuttal, criticizing my analysis. Under-employment

EDITOR: Today’s paper, January 3, 2022, headline states that unemployment ticks up in November. 5.1% in Delta County. Right now, Meijer, Menards, Elmer’s, and Walmart all are short-staffed. The paper mill has been advertising. Andex workers are working overtime every week. I have picked up workers from every type of business and they all tell me that they are under-staffed. So, this is troubling. Nobody to work, but five out of every 100 are collecting money from the government; from me. Where does government get the money to pay them for not working? Your tax money. EDITOR: I am responding to the article on page 1 of Tuesday, Dec. 4 Daily Press. Carla K. Johnson writes, “The nation’s COVID -19 death toll stands at 800,000. A year ago, it was 300,000. An untold number of lives, perhaps tens of thousands have been saved by vaccination.” What was this “untold number” that was saved? 500,000 more lives were lost after the vaccines.
