Too many potholes

EDITOR : Could we possibly get the city to take a week and fill some potholes? There are other projects that are being worked on throughout the city. One down at the park. I’m sure those projects are important. But the city’s streets are atrocious! While I’m at it, I will address a couple of businesses that should be ashamed of their parking areas and the potholes. EDITOR: I started attending the board meetings of the county commissioners after the firing of our then County Administrator, Emily DeSalvo. I found the circumstances of that action puzzling and decided to educate myself as to what exactly was going on. As you may remember, Emily was fired in a 3-2 (Moyle, Barron, and Peterson) vote after she gave a speech questioning the integrity and ethics of these three commissioners. EDITOR: There have been several letters over the past few weeks that show significantly different approaches to making a point. Letters from Chas. Smouthers, Jr. and Mike Cousineau are examples of well thought-out and researched positions citing credible sources in their defense. These are in sharp contrast to the one by Diana Peach regarding Line 5. Hers used fearful hyperbole and dire prophecy. EDITOR: I’m writing today as a member of the Delta County Citizens for Ethical Leadership. We are a bipartisan group working to recall Moyle, Barron, and Petersen. I was very happy to introduce our group at May 2nd’s board meeting.
