Could we possibly get the city to take a week and fill some potholes? There are other projects that are being worked on throughout the city. One down at the park. I’m sure those projects are important. But the city’s streets are atrocious!

While I’m at it, I will address a couple of businesses that should be ashamed of their parking areas and the potholes. Number one – Burger King. I heard that they have to bid the project and have to wait until the weather allows it. I believe that if I were the manager, I would have already filled the crater with dirt, or at least put up a road block. Cars are bottoming out when they hit the hole. Dial Properties should be ashamed. Outside of Dollar Tree, behind Pizza Hut near the entrance for anyone going to Advance Auto is horrible. They sell asphalt patch by the bag. Delta Plaza is pretty bad, too. If I had a business in either one, I would have already patched some to help my customers.

It has been worse this year than most. Maybe the city should buy a couple of thousand bags and give them away. The residents would use them.
