EDITOR: When asked by one of his parishioners why we should love our enemies, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is said to have answered that we must do so because anger begets anger, hate begets hate, and violence is always returned with violence for, as it says in the Letter to the Galatians, you will reap what you sow. EDITOR: I just read Nino Green’s 7-31 letter concerning his displeasure with some of Donald Trump’s words. Well let’s examine some of the things that Trump has not said or done. He has never said “I support open borders” or “The border is secure”. He never took resources from the VA and used them for migrants. He’s never evicted homeless vets from shelters to use the space for migrants. Trump never said “Defund the police”. Never stood for “no bail”.
