EDITOR:

I just read Nino Green’s 7-31 letter concerning his displeasure with some of Donald Trump’s words.

Well let’s examine some of the things that Trump has not said or done. He has never said “I support open borders” or “The border is secure”. He never took resources from the VA and used them for migrants. He’s never evicted homeless vets from shelters to use the space for migrants. Trump never said “Defund the police”. Never stood for “no bail”. Never released four cop beaters from a NYC jail with no bond.

Trump never closed my church, took away my right to assemble with other Americans, told me how many people I could have in my home or required me to keep travel papers in my truck. President Trump never threatened Americans with loss of employment for refusing to get a dangerous drug injected into their bodies.

As President Trump never lifted sanctions on Iran allowing Iranians to fund death and mayhem across the Middle East. Nor did he order a whole sale retreat from Afghanistan getting 13 troops killed, leaving hundreds of Americans and $80 billion in weapons behind.

All of the above are actions taken by Democrats and as my dad often reminded me during my youth “Actions speak louder than words.”
