EDITOR: A while back on August 28, you printed a letter from Richard Johnson. In this letter, he made the claim that Trump voters lacked reason and common sense. I will not debate whether I have common sense or not, however I do have plenty of reason. When Trump left office there were so fewer terrorist training camps in Afganistan. EDITOR: As most Americans are well aware, we have an important election coming up on November 5th. And, while most of the emphasis has been on the national election for President, there are several local elections of particular importance as well. EDITOR: Littering is bad for the Earth, animals, and other reasons. It is best if we don’t litter. I went to the fairgrounds once, and people left food everywhere. It was the worst! Never litter, please. It can hurt you, too. You may not care about some animals, but it doesn’t matter because all animals are the best, and even the octopus is cute. EDITOR: The powerful letter from Mike Cousineau of Sept. 17, reminded me of the opening lines of a song from Janis Ian, “I learned the truth at 17, that love was meant for beauty queens…”. I recommend you listen or read the full lyrics… oh, and think “Homecoming Kings” as well. I rarely emote like this, but Mike implies (hope I’m right) that “someone isn’t showing love for someone else” and denies guidance and hope to the young girl.
