Gender
EDITOR:
The powerful letter from Mike Cousineau of Sept. 17, reminded me of the opening lines of a song from Janis Ian, “I learned the truth at 17, that love was meant for beauty queens…”. I recommend you listen or read the full lyrics… oh, and think “Homecoming Kings” as well.
I rarely emote like this, but Mike implies (hope I’m right) that “someone isn’t showing love for someone else” and denies guidance and hope to the young girl. This pain, also expressed in the song, has spread throughout our society creating a dark chasm between hope and fulfillment as a person. The “Woke” recognize an opportunity to increase their message of “we are right” and that “we have an answer, and we will help you.” This is demonstrated by the increasing instances of not just social media peer pressure, but is nurtured in schools who act as counselors in many cases facilitating the notion that changing your “gender” will ease your pain. Notice how parents are intentionally removed from this equation. Parents are deprived of the duty to educate, nurture and love the children for whom they are legally responsible. In many instances, parents are simply viewed as “birthing-persons” who then at the age of 6 or so, turn their kids over to the hand-held, electronic world in which they must now live.
Biology 101: humans with XX chromosomes are female, XY are male. These chromosomes create glands which not only determine external features, but also pattern the brain to develop along certain behavioral pathways. Every nucleus in the body reacts to these instructions.
Language: An evolved means to communicate between members of a society. It is believed that societies have existed prior to standardized languages which adapt to their understanding of a changing environment. Recognition of genetic differences perpetuates the species.
It seems that some are trying to “de-volve” language into forms of speech (pronouns, genders, etc.) that propose to redefine the reality of genetics. “Trans-sexuality” is biologically impossible. “Trans-genderism” is simply a word game with no scientific basis.
Nature/Nurture: A de-bunked concept (now being revived) proposing you can take a person and through changes in chemistry, environment and indoctrination, “evolve” them into something entirely different. This is the approach the woke are now taking in an attempt to alter the psychological development of genetic reality. “You’re not really a girl… are you”? These tactics are done as far from parental view as possible it seems. Deceiving young women with a fantasy that external physical alterations and internal disruption/destruction of their hormonal system will create a psychologically desirable outcome for some barely pubic child. It would make a bad, though age-appropriate fairy tale “Her dear… eat this apple and it will turn you into a happy, and handsome prince, and people will love you.”
Note: Science is not a decision-making process, it provides objective facts and data. If interpreted with moral principles, it may (we can only hope) resolve our problems.
