EDITOR:

The restaurant and bar industries have been significantly impacted by COVID-19. This includes all industry service workers and their families who have had difficulties paying utilities, purchasing clothing, food, and other essentials. A Facebook fundraiser titled “Fundraiser for Servers/Bartenders During Pandemic” has been initiated for servers/bartenders to assist with essentials while their businesses are shut down. Please consider donating, as the needs are great in our community. In addition, a Facebook group titled “Adopt a Server/Bartender – Delta County” has been created for both servers/bartenders to request assistance anonymously and for community members to join to assist in fulfilling those requests as able.
