Community Foundation responds to need

This week’s bouquets go to:

This week the Community Foundation for Delta County gave funds through its Human Needs Fund. Bob VanDamme, board chair, and Cheryl Andzejewski, executive director of the Community Foundation for Delta County, made the announcement this week the foundation has issued checks to help those in need.

“The foundation has a wonderful collaboration with schools, especially those involved in our Feed-The-Kids Backpack Program. The Community Foundation Board and Committee Members are so proud of the schools for their organizational skills, help and ability in recognizing the needs of their students,” said VanDamme. “No child should ever go hungry. That is why the foundation has issued pro-active grants to the following schools as well as local food pantries”.
