MUNISING — Walter Albert Schultz, age 80 of Munising, died at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette on May 27, 2026. ‘Wally’ was born on April 19, 1946 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Raymond and Genevieve (Perhai) Schultz. Wally’s family moved to Escanaba where he graduated from Escanaba High School in 1964. Wally gathered All-conference and All-U.P honors in basketball, and U.P. track champion in 110yd hurdles and long jump.
