Dr. Larry Andreini

FLORIDA — Dr. Larry Andreini left this world on April 27, 2022 at his home in Florida with his wife Julie at his side. He was born August 10, 1940 in Iron Mountain to Beatrice and Joseph Andreini. After graduating from Iron Mountain High School, Larry attended Marquette University and then medical school at Creighton University. After serving two years in the Air Force, Larry spent his lifetime caring for people at Doctor’s Park, St Francis Emergency Department in Escanaba and across the U.P. He said there was not another job he would liked better than medicine.

In his spare time, Larry enjoyed being at camp, hunting, golfing, painting, travel and cooking for friends and family.

Larry is survived by his wife Julie; five children, Michael (Jane), Joe (Rae), Lisa (Bob) Valiquette, Mathew and Cara and two stepdaughters, Megan ( Donny Wallenfang) and Natalie (Sean Anderson). Also sisters Pauline (Fran Brouillette) and Bernie Blomquist, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Daniel.

Plans for a celebration for Larry’s life in July are incomplete at this time.
