Sandrea ‘Jeannie’ Spaulding

Jeannie was born March 4, 1948 in Gladstone, Mich., the daughter of George and Marjorie (Ketcham) Demeuse. She graduated from Gladstone High School. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother. Jeannie enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved playing various games with friends and family. She enjoyed collecting coins and stamps. Jeannie especially loved scrapbooking.

Jeannie is survived by: husband, George Spaulding of Gladstone, Mich.; two sons, David (Jesselyn) Spaulding of Reno, Nevada, Paul (Tracy) Spaulding of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Nancy Burke of Escanaba, Mich., and Linda (Gary) Kidd of Escanaba, Mich.; three brothers, Donald (Nancy) Demeuse of Gladstone, Mich., Terry (Jackie) Demeuse of Grass Lake, Mich., Alan (Pat) Demeuse of Hanover, Colo.; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Jeannie was preceded in death by: two sisters, Sharon Mannebach and Julie Utterback; one brother, Joe Ketcham.

Family will receive friends on Friday, January 22, from noon until 2 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Jeannie will be laid to rest in Gardens of Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Delta County Cancer Alliance, 3430 Ludington Street, Escanaba, MI, 49829.
