Search for missing Schoolcraft County woman is ongoing
MANISTIQUE — The investigation into the whereabouts of 39-year-old Kristen Terrian, who has been missing since Aug. 2, is still ongoing.
Terrian was last seen around 5:30 a.m. Friday at Michibay Beach near Mansitique Township Park. She is described as a white female with brown hair, is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs roughly 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing light blue jeans, a dark green long-sleeve shirt, and was barefoot.
Troopers and detectives with the Michigan State Police Manistique Outpost and Gladstone Post announced shortly before noon Thursday that the investigation was still ongoing. Assisting in the search have been the Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s Office, Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s Aviation Unit, Delta County Sheriff’s Office, Delta County Search and Rescue Unit, Manistique Public Safety, Manistique Township Fire Department, Sault Tribal Police Department, MSP Marine Services Unit, MSP Canine Unit, and the U.S. Coast Guard.
The Michigan State Police thanks the community for providing continued support and providing tips to help locate Terrian.
