ESCANABA — The crew for Players do Noc’s upcoming children’s theater production of James and the Giant Peach met recently to lay the groundwork for the show. James and the Giant Peach is the second novel in a series of four children’s theater productions planned by Players, which was kicked off last year with Charlotte’s Web.

Director Robin Gavriloff and Production Stage Manager Heather Grimes have built a team consisting of Players’ veterans, as well as individuals new to the theatre. Show dates will be April 22 – 30 at the Bonifas Arts Center. Follow Players de Noc on Facebook or check out their website at pleayersdenoc.org for ticket information as it becomes available.

Auditions for the show will be February 20 and 21 at the Bonifas starting at 7 p.m. Parents/guardians interested in having their 10 to 15 year old child audition need to send an email to pdnjamesandthegiantpeach@gmail.com with the child’s name, age, parent name and contact information. An audition time slot will be chosen and emailed back for confirmation.
