Escanaba Public Library’s Live on the Lawn summer series began with a concert by musicians Phil Lynch and Harry South. Th new series runs through August, with events each Thursday at 1 p.m. on the north lawn of the library. The series will include everything from live music to art projects to book discussions to tai chi. People are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the Memorial Garden and north lawn area.
