It was an exciting day at North Woods Place by Enlivant Wednesday, as residents and staff celebrated reopening the assisted living facility to guests and allowing residents to come and go as they please. The slightly-nontraditional ribbon cutting ceremony marking the occasion took place inside the building facing the outside doors, a symbolic statement that residents that had once been confined tot he facility due to the pandemic had regained their freedom. Residents were fully vaccinated as of March 16, and North Woods Executive Director Andy Cartwright said the “reopening” was the facility’s second major milestone being celebrated Wednesday.
