Upper Peninsula COVID-19 cases stand at 126

ESCANABA – The Upper Peninsula had 126 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 16 deaths caused by the virus, according to state officials.

Delta County had a total of 17 confirmed COVID-19 cases, three probable cases and two deaths. Schoolcraft County had four confirmed cases and Menominee County had nine confirmed cases.

Elsewhere in the peninsula, Alger County had one confirmed case. Baraga County had one confirmed case. Chippewa County had two confirmed cases and one probable case. Dickinson County had six confirmed cases and two deaths. Gogebic County had five confirmed cases and one death. Houghton County had eight confirmed cases. Iron County had two confirmed cases. Keweenaw County had one confirmed case. Luce County had three confirmed cases. Mackinac County had eight confirmed cases and Marquette County had 59 confirmed cases and 11 deaths.
