Steak dinner cancelled

The American Legion in Gladstone has cancelled the monthly steak dinner for the month of March. Hopefully the month of April will be better.

Memorial United Methodist Church

The Annual Soup and Speaker Series at Memorial United Methodist Church has been cancelled. The speakers will be rescheduled at a later date.

Taco Tuesday canceled

The American Legion Taco Tuesday has been cancelled until further notice.

Bay College postpones

Artist Talk

Bay College is postponing the March 19 Artist Talk with Emily Tobin LaVoy until further notice. The “Wilderness” exhibit opened on Feb. 20 in the Hartwig Gallery, located in the Catherine Bonifas Building on Bay College’s Escanaba Campus, and will be on display until March 31.

MDOT US-41 project

meeting cancelled

March 16, 2020 — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be canceling the public meeting on the 2021 US-41 project scheduled in Houghton on March 24. The meeting may be rescheduled later, or information and opportunity for public input may be provided through other means.

AAUW meeting cancelled

The AAUW meeting scheduled for March 26 has been cancelled. It will tentatively be rescheduled in June. Questions can be addressed to Judy at 789-1905

Some AA meetings canceled

All AA meetings at Central United Methodist Church and St. Stephens will be cancelled until further notice.

Christ the King Lutheran Church

Christ the King Lutheran Church will not be holding any worship services or meeting until further notice.

First Presbyterian Church

First Presbyterian Church will be closed until Easter Sunday.

Bake and craft sale

The March 28 Craft and Bake Sale at the Gladstone Senior Center has been cancelled and will be rescheduled with a future date.

Eagles memorial service

The memorial service that was planned for Saturday March 21, at the Escanaba Eagles has been cancelled.

Forage Success meeting canceled

MSU Extension’s Recipes for Forage Success meeting on March 26 at Delta County MSU Extension Office in Escanaba has been canceled.

Business after Hours canceled

The Delta County Chamber of Commerce Business after Hours event previously scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, has been canceled.

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be closing the information lobbies at all Michigan Welcome Centers until further notice. At locations where it is possible, restrooms will remain open to the public. A contact phone number will be posted at each location for visitors who need additional information.
