ESCANABA — UP Health System Hospice and Grounds Nursery will be sponsoring a brat sale fundraiser to support the UP Honor Flight Legacy Museum. According to Scott Knauf, president of the UP Honor Flight; the Legacy and UP Veterans Museum located at the Delta County Chamber of Commerce is responsible for payment of the utilities throughout the course of the year. Currently, they are dependent on fundraisers like the Power for Vets Brat Fundraiser to ensure they have adequate resources to cover the expenses.

The sale will be held Thursday, July 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the UP State Fairground’s Ruth Butler Building. Food includes brats, chips, cookie and bottled water.

All proceeds will be used to support the utility expenses associated with the veteran’s museum.
