ESCANABA — Beginning Wednesday, June 8, 21st Avenue North (aka: Power Plant Road) will be closed to through traffic while roadway construction takes place. This construction is anticipated to last through Friday, June 17. This road also serves as the access to the North Shore Boat Launch site. Except for short periods of time, access to the boat launch site and nearby businesses will remain open although discouraged.

Be prepared to stop and expect delays. Slow down near this work area, there will be some traffic congestion. Lane widths will be reduced or closed to all traffic at times. For any questions or concerns contact the City of Escanaba Engineering Department at 906-789-3795.
