ESCANABA — The Bay Sages Board of Directors regularly scheduled monthly meeting location on September 2 at 10 a.m. at Bay de Noc Community College has been moved from the Joseph Heirman University Center to the Besse Center Auditorium. Coffee and rolls will be served in the foyer.

The Bay Sages is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational programs for older adults in the Delta County area. Dues are $20 for the year and include monthly newsletters, coffee and rolls at regular meetings and a wide variety of educational opportunities for members. Guests and new members are welcome.

The September 2 meeting will feature Sue Gartland from the Delta County Animal Shelter. Topics will be the philosophy of the shelter, type of animals that are serviced at the tremendous volunteer effort that supports the shelter. Donations of paper towels, soft dog treats, bleach, cloth towels and blankets are greatly appreciated. Monetary donations are also accepted.

Attendees please be advised that masks covering your mouth and nose are required for everyone on the campus, regardless of vaccine status.

All dues renewal payments for the 2021-22 year will be accepted at the September meeting or can be mailed to the Bay Sages Office at Bay de Noc Community College, 2001 North Lincoln Road, Escanaba, MI 49829.
