ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently sentenced in Delta County Circuit Court on unrelated charges.

Shannon Marie Lippold, 42, of 1323 Stephenson Ave., Lower, Escanaba, pleaded guilty to a count of controlled substance — delivery/manufacture (Schedules 1, 2 and 3 except marijuana, meth, ecstasy and cocaine). She was sentenced to a minimum of 1 year, three months and a maximum of seven years in prison, and was given credit for 193 days served. Lippold was ordered to pay $198 in fines and costs.

Christopher Louis Lafreniere, 27, of 309 S. 9th St., Escanaba, pleaded no contest to a count of police officer — assaulting/resisting/obstructing. He was sentenced to 12 months jail and given credit for 46 days served. Lafreniere was put on probation for 12 months; the remainder of jail time is held in abeyance until successful completion of probation. He was ordered to pay $808 in fines and costs and $1,220.64 in restitution.
