Escanaba Municipal Beach open
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Municipal Beach is open for the season. Hours are 12 to 7 p.m. seven days a week with certified lifeguards.
The Escanaba Recreation Department realizes the loss of the sand beach over the last couple of years.
However, the berm is extremely essential in maintaining what sand area the beach currently has. The berm is in place to prevent further erosion of the beach area.
