The Superior Central Cougars played the Calumet Copper Kings in the semi-finals of High School Bowl and were defeated by a score of 280-200. Forty schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 42 years on the air.
