Gladstone to operate only essential services
GLADSTONE — Gladstone City Manager Eric Buckman announced the city of Gladstone will only operate essential services and personnel through April 13. This comes after Gladstone City Hall closed March 16 to all walk-in traffic in hope of controlling the spread of the coronavirus.
Action was taken due to Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s Executive Order 2020-21, COVID-19, Temporary requirement to suspend activities that are not necessary to sustain or protect life.
“If you have an emergency or need to report an outage, please call 911 and the appropriate personnel will be dispatched,” said Buckman in the press release.
Buckman asks the public to call individual departments needed for assistance and the call will be answered as soon as possible.
