ESCANABA — The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) of the Community Foundation for Delta County today announced the recipients of their October 2019 grants round. The following organizations receiving grants are Delta Astronomical Society – Planet Walk; Delta County Animal Shelter-Happy Trails Story Time; Delta County College Access Network (DCCAN)-Career Development and Post High School Planning Opportunities-Career Fairs; Delta County Nonmotorized Trails – DCNT Youth Cross Country Ski Program; Escanaba Basic Math Classroom Economy – Basic Math Classroom Economy; Escanaba Junior High School Rewards Program-Mo Bucks- Mo Bucks Reward System; Escanaba Senior High School Robotics – Escanaba Robomos Team 3602; and Rapid River Schools – Rapid River Science Olympiad Teams.

Youth Advisory Committee Co-Chairs Allison Gustafson and Azariah Hernandez said the next grand round will open on Friday, Feb. 28, and all grant requests and requirements must be received by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, in order to be considered.
