Camp broken into, nothing stolen

CORNELL TOWNSHIP — No items were reported missing after a camp was broken into in Cornell Township recently.

According to the Delta County Sheriff’s Office, at 11:57 a.m. Monday, deputies were called to a camp on Truax 24th Road in Cornell Township for breaking and entering.

The back door of the camp had been pushed in, but no items were reported stolen.

The break-in occurred sometime between Nov. 6 and Monday.

Vehicle rummaged through, $1 missing

ESCANABA — A vehicle was rummaged through in Escanaba recently.

Escanaba Public Safety Officers were called to 301 Ludington Street in Escanaba for a vehicle that was rummaged through at 6:28 p.m. Oct. 28.

No items were reported stolen and the only thing the complainant noticed missing was a dollar bill from the cup-holder.

Gas siphoned from parked car

ESCANABA — A vehicle parked in a yard had about a half tank of gas siphoned from it in Escanaba Sunday.

Escanaba Public Safety officers were called to a residence on the 300 block of Stephenson Avenue in Escanaba for a larceny of gas at 1:08 p.m. Sunday.

The complainant told officers the vehicle was parked in her yard for about a year and noticed Sunday that the gas cap of the vehicle had been taken off.

She told officers she thinks about a half tank of gas was siphoned.

Jug of gas stolen from garage

ESCANABA — A garage was broken into and a 5 gallon jug of gasoline was taken in Escanaba Saturday.

According to Escanaba Public Safety officers were called to a residence on the 300 block of Stephenson Avenue for a larceny of a jug of gasoline from a garage at 11:06 a.m. Saturday.

The 5 gallon of gasoline had to have been taken sometime Friday night.

Garage entered in Escanaba

ESCANABA — Hedge clippers were possibly stolen after a garage was broken into in Escanaba Saturday.

Escanaba Public Safety officers said they were called to a garage, located on the 300 block of 18th Street, for a possible larceny at 1:56 p.m. Saturday.

Officers observed the latch to the door of the garage had been unscrewed and left hanging.

The complainant told officers her hedge clippers were taken. No value was listed.

Trailer broken into in Escanaba

ESCANABA — Escanaba Public Safety Department were called to a trailer break-in on the 1600 block of 30th Street Monday. The complainant told officers he found the side door of his trailer wide open and someone was observed running through yards in the area.

Officers patrolled the area and found no one.

No items were reported missing from the trailer.
