Individuals bound over to circuit court
ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.
Dianna Marie Cooper, 26, of 508 Blossom St., Iron River, was bound over on one count of controlled substance – possession (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) less than 25 grams, a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $25,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Feb. 14, 2019 in Delta County. Cooper posted 10 percent of $5,000.
Brandy Jo Dehaan, 40, of 1517 N. 20th St., Escanaba, was bound over on one count of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Sept. 19, 2019 in Escanaba. Dehaan posted 10 percent surety of $2,000.
Matthew Luke Willis, 32, of 1310 Superior Ave., Gladstone, was bound over on one count of assault with a deadly weapon (felonious assault), a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000; and one count of reckless driving, a 93-day misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $500. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Sept. 1, 2019 in Escanaba. Willis posted $1,000 cash.
Kristine Mary Jensen, 53, of 8279 N.7 Lane, Gladstone, was bound over on the following counts: two counts of controlled substance – possession/analogues, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison; and one count of operating with the presence of a controlled substance, a 93-day misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $500 or 360 hours of community service and rehabilitative programs. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Sept. 11, 2019 in Escanaba. Jensen posted $10,000 cash/surety.
Stacey Marie Osby, 29, of 301 S. 18th St., Escanaba, was bound over on the following counts: one count of controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy, a 10-year felony with a maximum fine of $15,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison; and two counts of controlled substance – possession/analogues, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Sept. 24, 2019 in Escanaba. The bond was set at $60,000 cash/surety.
Kristie Lynn Engdahl, 34, of 532 N. 20th St. 2, Escanaba, was bound over on the following counts: one count of assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault), a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000; and two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing, a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Sept. 29, 2019 in Escanaba. Engdahl posted 10 percent surety of $20,000.
Cheryl Elizabeth Sagataw, 28, of W368 N. 38th Road, Wilson, was bound over on one count of controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy, a 10-year felony with a maximum fine of $15,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Sept. 23, 2019 in Gladstone. The bond was set at $18,000 cash/surety.
