Cases sent to circuit court

ESCANABA — The following individuals were recently bound over from Delta County District Court to circuit court in unrelated cases.

Dustin Shawn Spencer, 26, of 757 E. Empire St., Ishpeming, was bound over on two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing, each a two-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Aug. 18, 2019 in Escanaba. Spencer was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

Misty Doreen Beaver, 38, of 1326 Wisconsin Ave., Gladstone, was bound over in two different cases involving drug charges. In one case she was bound over on one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (schedules one, two and three except marijuana, meth, ecstasy, and cocaine), a seven-year felony with a maximum fine of $10,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on Dec. 17, 2018 in Gladstone. She posted 10 percent surety of her $10,000 bond.

In Beaver’s other case, she was bound over on one count of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (schedules one, two and three except marijuana, meth, ecstasy, and cocaine), a seven-year felony with a maximum fine of $10,000 and license sanctions unless sentenced to more than one year in prison. The charge stems from an incident that occurred on March 1, 2019 in Gladstone. She posted 10 percent surety of her $20,000 bond.
