ESCANABA — Bring an old tradition into the modern age with the Art of Sewing – Alterations class at the Bonifas.

On Thursdays starting Feb. 21, instructor and professional seamstress/tailor Lana Farley will be teaching students how to alter clothes to fit their bodies perfectly. Why pay more when you can update and style your clothes at home? This class will focus on the most commonly required alterations like hem, sleeves, shoulders to help your jeans, dresses, and jackets fit properly. Students can expect to use sewing machines for this class and the Bonifas will allow the use of machines outside of class time for students who don’t own one at home.
